Hi – feel like I have to defend the bar. Yes, many are loud, smokey, and obnoxious – but we can’t write the all off entirely. Many are also great places to relax with friends, enjoy good live music, and share a fine beverage.

Of course – thats the key, isn’t it. Alcohol – the social lubricant. Have one or two, and conversation flows, ideas are born, friends are made. Have too many, and the situation gets out of control, and bad things happen… Like so much in life, there should be balance in all things.
