Update with pictures

Glad most of you seem to be settling in, getting over jet lag, and apparently getting married (Yen?). Not me. I just finished up some work with colleagues in Changsha, Hunan. I have taken on a student at Hunan Normal University who will do biodiversity analysis on a 10-year collection of spiders from the Gaoligongshan in western Yunnan.

I also had a chance to go to Zhangjaijie for a few days, a very beautiful nature reserve in Hunan. I think I was probably the only non-Chinese speaker there. I am really not on the normal path for western tourists! I’ll upload some pictures from XTBG and my post XTBG China trip later…

Thank you all for helping to make my time in Xishuangbanna so enjoyable.

Please keep in touch.

Very best wishes,

Jeremy

Hello everyone,

I’m looking forward to meeting all of you in Xishuangbanna.

I understand from Keri that there is already some excitement brewing about arthropods. How delightful.

I know that you are all working on your proposals. I am available to answer questions, especially for those students who might want to do a project involving arthropods. Keri is trying to set up a Skype session, but students should also feel free to contact me individually by email: miller@naturalis.nl

Best wishes,

Jeremy Miller
