Hi, I am writing to inform you that there is a Korea government scholarship program(KGSP) for graduate.
I was wondering if you have anyone you want to recommend for ‘KGSP’program.
If there is anyone who is thought to be eligible for this please recommend him/her to department.
The applicant who finally selected by Korean government will start to their study at SNU Sept 1st 2011.
The applicant who wants to apply for KGSP is required to fill out the form attached.

- Vietnam, Indonesia, Philippine, Uzbekistan, Mongolia, Bangladeshi, Malaysia, Cambodia,
India, Thailand, Myanmar, Nepal, Pakistan etc.

- Tuition fees, Air fare, Living allowance(900,000/Month), Fund for Research, Printing fees for dissertation, Medical Insurance
▪ Qualifications
1. Nationality of applicant’s parents is not a Korean
2. Nationality of applicant is not a Korean.
3. Age for applicant is under 40(As of September 1st 2010)
4. Applicant is not being in college in Korea now or has ever attended college in Korea before.
5. The GPA from previously attended college is more than 80/100.
6. Applicant is required to have Bachelor/Master degree or expected to graduate September 1st, 2010.
▪ Duration for Study in Korea
- Master Course : total 3years (Korean language course 1year + degree course 2years)
- Ph.D. Course : total 4years (Korean language course 1year + degree course 3years)
- Combined Master/Ph.D. Course : total 5years (Korean language course 1year + degree course 4years)
