Personal Experiences
24 July 2009 by Bhakta Bahadur Karki
Life is full of surprise….. nobody knows what will happen in future. I have never expected to be a participant for this historic ecological conservation course. Everthing happens all of sudden. I still don’t remember how i found the link and how i proceed. I must be wondered thinking all about it. I heard that whatever happens, happens for the best. Now i realized that the saying is true.
I am young Mountain Forester, working in a European Commission funded Sustainable Rural Livelihood Program (SRLP) under Rural Reconstruction Nepal (RRN) which is a prominent organization in Nepal. Infact, I completed my M.Sc. in Mountain Forestry from BOKU University. I got that chance to study in BOKU university by luck. I don’t want to reveal my secret that luck is favouring me.
For sure, not only me, everyone has got a good platform to learn something new in the field of ecology and conservation. The process of learning is keep going. Everday has been proving as a effective days. I still remember my first day’s lecture in XTBG hall and see how fast days spent. Now, we have only 2 weeks and we all are busy doing our indenpent project.
I wish all for the successful accomplishment of the research work.

You too? I thought I was the only one.
My good friend and I used to always say, “Life is what happens while you are making other plans.”

Dou!!!!
whats going on? we should do something new for your project.
What’s up man! I am so agree with you that sometimes a little bit of luck will change our lives. But I’ll see that slightly different way. You are successful because you grabbed the opportunity (which sometimes come with some luck). Some people may miss the opportunity or probably waste the opportunity. So keep it up, you are the man! Hope to see you in September.
